Somebody Feed Phil

About
Somebody Feed Phil

Somebody Feed Phil is a docuseries on Netflix that introduces various aspects of food and tourism. Phil Rosenthal, the famous producer of the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, takes the viewers on a journey of adventure as he tastes the local food from cities around the world.

Not surprisingly, Thailand is one of the destinations that Phil selected to explore in this series. The culinary wonders of Bangkok and Chiang Mai are featured in the first episode of the first season. On his journey, Phil reveals the real atmosphere of Thailand as he tastes a diversity of cuisines that range from cheap but delicious street food to the gastronomic delights of some of the finest chef’s table cuisine in Asia. Aside from the amazing food, viewers are treated to the many wonders of the charming and unique places that Phil visits and the interesting stories that he shares about those places.

Another interesting feature of Somebody Feed Phil is the special sense of how the stories are presented. In each episode, Phil invites a guest to tell the story from a different angle. Every time Phil moves to another city, he makes a video call with his parents to share his astonishing experiences of exploring delicious food from wonderful and exotic places.

Since 2018, Somebody Feed Phil has taken audiences to more than 77 cities worldwide. Its 6th season has been on the air on Netflix since the 18th of October, 2022.
